Breakfast was good with sufficient variety and choice of drinks, food, deserts. Rooms were clean and roomy but basic. The ones we stayed in were refurbished but it was modern/minimalistic for interieur/decor. Staff was friendly. Plus is the garden, pool and cocktailbar. It shows that this was an hotel from different owner that was refurbished - mostly with minimal cost effort to comply with "kyriad standard". Overall good stay due to value for money.

The hotel is great for families with kids as there are multiple entertainment options for killing time with restless kids. Moreover the half pension is a good value for money and both breakfast and dinner staff are friendly. The hotel seems to be oriented towards guests with cars but it's totally feasible to reach it by public transport. Otherwise it's an uphill walk from the train station

We were here only for one night. The hotel looks shabby from the outside, but the interior is quite modern. We were surprised by the size of the room (perhaps the room for the disabled which was not used that night). Also the bathroom was huge. Very nice staff, especially a Russian girl who saved us from hunger in the late evening. Thank you.

The staff veeery sweet and nice, the room was decent, clean with a double bed and a cot like a bed we asked and a very, very delicious breakfast with the finest teas selections 🍵. We enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing and nice, despite the rainy weather. My daughter was very pleased by the kids area within the lounge. Thank you!

good bar and outside well kept garden area by the pool with gazebos for shelter. nice garden with small play area for children and seating dotted about.hotel was in quite residential area but close enough to walk to a bar restaurant . breakfast was good.

The staff was very pleasant, smiley and helpful. The parking was spacious. The kids games were a good surprise. The pool was very secured for children. Close to the center. Diner was also good with kids menus.

The hotel Ibis Style Besancon is equipped with a nice swimming pool and a restaurant. After a full days travel it is delightful to fresh up in the swimming pool and to have a diner at the hotel it self. The value for money is absolutely OK.

The breakfast was very good, but the dinner was even better. You must take halfboard when you are staying here and you will not regret it :-)

We arrived very late, 02:00 am in the morning, but still had a good parking space and very friendly staff at the reception desk. Room was spacious, clean, good beds, very quiet. The hotel is in a secluded area, surrounded by villas. Next morning, very good breakfast buffet. If it had't been so chilly and raining the night before, we would have used the pool too. All in all, a great stopover hotel.
